Drink Your Fruits
We have all heard how important it is to get our required number of vegetables and fruits we need daily to stay fit and healthy. While we know how important it is, sometimes we get too busy, whether it be from a busy work schedule or a home life, and we forget. Some people choose not to get their daily fruits because they don't' feel like having to eat a piece of fruit. If you fall into any of these categories, consider the option of drinking your fruit instead.

Drinking your fruit can be easy and just as healthy as eating a piece of fruit. There are a couple of ways you can do this. You can choose to make your own juices or buy some juice at the grocery store. You'll find a wide variety of juices available to choose from at the store, but it's always best to choose an organic juice. More and more grocery stores are bringing in large amounts of organic products for their customers, so you should be able to find some great organic apple juice or orange juice. There are also a few varieties of fruit punches you can choose from. Just make sure they're made of real fruit juice and not added ingredients. |
It's ultimately better to make your own juice if you can. Investing in a juicer is a wise decision and will save you money in the long run. There are also several different juice recipes you can get, and special books with just juice recipes in them. If at all possible, leave the peels on the fruits when you put them through. There are special nutrients in them that will be beneficial to you.
| Your next option to drink your fruit, is to make some delicious fruit smoothies. You'll need a blender, some ice, and some fresh fruits of your choice. Some people enjoy adding yogurt to their smoothies as well, so you're getting some extra calcium in your smoothie. Just like for those who choose to make their own juices, there are plenty of books that include smoothie recipes. Smoothies are a great way to get your kids to drink their fruits as well. Smoothies often remind kids of milk shakes, and they often forget that they are actually healthy for them. A smoothie is a great snack, or for those who are in a hurry during the morning time, a great breakfast! |
